“We need more trees – Place an Order*, Plant a Tree”

At Tetcon, creating and helping is at the heart of everything we do. We started Tetcon to help your organisation with the power of smart and technical textile solutions, which we believe should also consider how we interact with the world around us. In the process of becoming a better powerhouse in textiles and as creators of hi-tex evacuation equipment, we became more concerned about the importance of leaving the earth better than we found it. You’ve shown your support ever since, now the ‘Place an Order, Plant a Tree’ endeavour is our way of giving back in appreciation. It’s our way of helping you, your customers as well as the environment. Your purchases in 2019 will help us plant as many trees as possibles.

With the help from our partners at Trees For All, our donations will plant trees with rural communities in the developing world, enabling them to restore their environment, grow more food, and build a more sustainable future.

So what does it mean ‘Place an Order*, Plant a Tree’?

It’s simple. When your order exceeds €1000 excl. VAT, we will plant a tree. We’ve chosen for 1000, because it’s a powerful number.

Do we plant the trees ourselves?

Yes and no. We are actually not planting the trees ourselves, but finance the planting, but our partners at Trees For All, a renowned environmental and non-profit organisation from The Netherlands, takes this over. In other words, we are actually serving as a transmitter, because you actually finance the tree with every order that exceeds €1000 excl. VAT.

Where do these trees get planted?

The trees will be planted in The Netherlands and Uganda.

What do you need to do?

Nothing. We will put everything in process when you order. This is just another way how we want to do business.

When do we start?

January 1, 2019.

How can we proof that those trees are actually planted?

Every year we will receive a certificate from Trees For All for the number of trees that we donated and planted. This certificate will be published online.
