Designed in The Netherlands
Designed by Tetcon in The Netherlands to ensure no one is left behind in emergency situations. Simplicity stands at the core of this evacuation aid.
With this inflatable evacuation mattress you won't have to lift when you need to evacuate patients via stairs, for example in private homes. Designed for ambulance and rescue services.
When time is critical, every second counts. When patients suffer from extreme lung or heart failure, you will have to act immediately to increase the patient’s chances of survival. A transfer via the stairs can then be an obstacle and cause a lot of time loss. You can also use the S-CAPEPLUS Inflatable Model in these scenarios.
Several studies have shown that back pain is a serious health issue for paramedics and first responders. Frequent lifting and carrying of patients results into high cumulative loads on the backs. These facts indicate that patient transport is the major cause for this problem. This ergonomic solution is the answer to that problem.
You use air to inflate the S-CAPEPLUS. Trauma immobilization on a spine board or a vacuum mat can be painful for patients. The S-CAPEPLUS provides a lot more comfort and prevents secondary injuries (e.g. pressure ulcers) due to trauma immobilization.
This helps you to carry the S-CAPEPLUS with you in case of an emergency.

Make sure the pulling straps at the foot and head end are stowed away to avoid tripping over them. Always provide sufficient assistance to stimulate ergonomic working.
