Stretchers are also known as a gurney or trolley. The words stretcher and gurney are often used as synonyms. A stretcher associates with transporting sick and injured people. You can find stretchers in ambulances and in hospitals, but they are also used in the funeral industry.

Stretchers in the workplace
Although the chance of an accident at work is small, it is recommended to have evacuation aids available at the workplace. This way you are not dependent on third parties or having to wait for the ambulance/fire brigade to transport the sick or injured. In addition to stretchers and stretchers, organisations can also choose to equip themselves with evacuation chairs, sedan chairs, evacuation mattresses and/or evacuation sheets.
